Then, he returned back to the University of Cyprus, continuing his postdoc research by working on the Social Electricity Online Platform (SEOP) European project, developing learning modules, educational content and online eco-feedback platforms, aiming to raise the awareness and knowledge of European citizens about energy, the environment and sustainability, investigating in parallel how Web technologies and social computing can lead people to pro-environmental behaviour. In parallel, he has been collaborating with the National University of Singapore, working on a project related to providing real-time online eco-feedback services to 50 houses around Singapore, using smart metering, promoting online user collaboration for co-creation of knowledge and energy savings through a synergistic effort of the participants. Now, he is working at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics at NUIG Galway, Ireland, performing research related to real-time Internet-of-Things stream processing and large-scale data analytics for smart city applications, through the CityPulse EU project.
