In 2013, when she was still in school, she participated in the Youth Empowerment Workshop which was one of the first steps of the Democratic and Empowerment Processes for youth in Lebanon project. It was very clear that her country - Lebanon - is in alarming need of a democratic system that will enable it to rebuild itself and provide a decent and better future to its' youth. Knowing that the youth are the main pillars for this change, she is very interested in a project that will promote these concepts in her country and raise awareness to its importance.
