Md. Tamzid Hayder Tawrat Sikder is a youth leader from Bangladesh with a vision of being a
change maker and establishing world peace. He has graduated in Textile Engineering from
BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT). He has been actively working with
Model United Nations (MUN) since 2012. Since then he has grown a passion on Diplomacy
and International Relations and participated in many national and international MUN
conferences and summits and has been practicing leadership in all sectors. He has been
participated as an executive board member in four MUN conferences held on national and
international platform. He is the Founder & President of BUFT Model UN Association
(BUFTMUNA). South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) is a non-profit regional youth
development organization, registered in Bangladesh and Mr.Hayder is a fellow of SAYS . His
creative and enthusiastic persona and dedication to peace oriented actions has been the north star
of his career. He has been involved in voluntary work since his school days and is known as
peace monger. Due to his voluntary work in rural regions of Bangladesh, he got the opportunity
to experience poverty of the needy from a close range and he tries his best to become a
Changemaker. Save The Children awarded him with “CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN” twice
in 2012 and 2013. He also received “Young Fellowship Challenge Award” -2016 from South
Asian Youth Society. He is also working as a country coordinator at Commonwealth Youth
Peace Ambassadors Network-CYPAN.He believes that full network among nations to work for
humanity, equality and keeping the network strong along with Commonwealth is the priority of
this young leader to spread peace and inclusiveness.
